The Iron Sledgehammer is one of the best weapons in the game, delivering 55 Blunt damage and a devastating AOE effect.

In Valheim, weapons can either be found or crafted.

Some of the best weapons in the game are only obtainable through crafting.

And to craft them, players need to find both the recipe and materials needed to craft them.

How To Craft The Iron Sledgehammer

To craft the Iron Sledgehammer, you will need to find the following materials.

• 30x Iron
• 10x Ancient Bark
• 4x Ymir Flesh
• Draugr Elite trophy

Iron can be found by using the Smelter to turn Scrap Iron into regular Iron.

Ancient Bark is found by chopping down Ancient Trees in the Swamp biome.

The Swamp biome is also where you will find the Draugr Elite trophy.

Draugr Elite have a chance at dropping it once defeated.

Ymir Flesh can be purchased from Haldor for 120 coins each, meaning it will cost 480 to purchase the four needed.

Once all of these are in your inventory, make sure you've got Forge Level 2 and a hammer, then use the Forge and open the Craft menu and select the Iron Sledgehammer.

Craft it and there you go, you now have one of the best weapons in the entire game.
