Apex Legends Season 17 Release Date - season 16 end

Apex Legends season 16 is well and truly underway and has been live for over a month now.

But, as always, the community are itching at the start of a new season and hopefully with a new legend.

Season 16 had a focus on getting the current meta up to scratch and ensuring new players were accommodated.

Unfortunately, this meant that there was no new legend to be added to the game.

Despite the numerous leaks for Ballistic, there was no official release. But, we are expecting the new legend to come into the game for season 17.

With a bunch of new content waiting in limbo for release, let's look at the end date of season 16 of Apex Legends and when season 17 starts.

Apex Legends Season 16 End Date

Season 16 of Apex Legends began on Valentine's Day 2023, so February 14 2023.

There is currently no official end date for this most current season of the game.

But, we can speculate when this might be coming from previous release patterns.

We should expect that this season will end in early to mid-May of 2023.

Speculated Season 17 Content

So, as season 16 of Apex is expected to end in early to mid-May, we should expect season 17 to land shortly after.

It is expected that Ballistic will finally enter the game, with recent leaks showcasing his full-body design and some prototype skins too.

A prolific Apex Legends leaks informer, Thordan Smash has also revealed that a new type of legend may be coming to the game.

He described the legend as Revenant Reborn with information coming directly from the playtesters themselves.

However, this is all speculation and has not yet been confirmed by Respawn Entertainment.

But, any updates will be put into this article, so keep your eyes peeled for those updates.
