After being officially announced last week, Apex Legends Unshackled Event finally goes live today.

Apex Legends Unshackled Event Launch Time and Date
Apex Legends Unshackled Event will finally go live tomorrow on April 19th. This comes after a little wait since the last major event and is a sign of where the game could go in the future. With bringing back a mode and a new way of getting skins, it could truly go anywhere. They are clearly willing to listen to the fans so make sure your voice is heard.
As of right now, we don't have a defined release time but we have an educated guess based on past events. If you're looking to give it a go, we think you will be able to play it at:
- 10 AM PT
- 1 PM ET
- 6 PM BST
What is Apex Legends Flashpoint?
Apex Legends Flashpoint is an old mode in Apex Legends that the team have brought back to celebrate the legacy of the game. In it, you have no way of restoring health from items so you have to go to Flashpoint Zones. Unfortunately, your enemies also restore health in these zones so everyone is fighting to get to the same spot to stay fighting a little longer.
What else is new?
As well as Flashpoint returning, you can find Flash Events - new event-themed challenges with special cosmetics and rewards.
Alongside this, Unshackled Packs are new times packs that come with special cosmetics and items. Unshackled Packs will only get you things unlocked in the Unshackled Event so it's a good time to grind them out.
