The latest instalment in the Assassin's Creed franchise has arrived!

But those who have picked up the game on the PC have noticed that there is one big feature missing from their copy of the game.
No Achivements
If you've played Assassin's Creed before, you will be aware of the variety of achievements that you can complete whilst playing the game.

Whilst some people aren't too fussed about completing the achievements, for many it offers an extra challenge that gives you that little extra push to keep playing.

But unfortunately for PC players, you won't have the choice on AC Valhalla, as the game doesn't support achievements.
Ubisoft Respond
Many users over on the Ubisoft forums and Reddit were hoping that this was merely a mistake and that they would be added at a later date.

Sadly though, that is not the case.

A member of the Ubisoft Support Staff confirmed that Achievements will not be returning over on the Ubisoft forums.
"Achievements will not be available for Assassin's Creed Valhalla on PC, instead with the launch of Ubisoft Connect our new titles will use the Challenges system in place of Achievements"
Coin System Ammended
One of the main reasons that users looked to complete achievements in game was in order to earn themselves some in-game currency.
But fear not PC gamers, as you'll still be able to earn your keep.
The lack of achievements has resulted in Ubisoft amending their coin system. You will now earn coins through levelling up, rather than completing challenges and achievements.
