Netflix + Assassin’s Creed: A new live-action show based on the games is coming to the streaming platform

The news has just dropped on an official Netflix Twitter page that Assassin’s Creed will be getting a show.

With the tweet also confirming that the show will be live-action, fans are getting suitably excited to see more footage!

This is big news for the world of gaming and television, so let’s jump into what we know so far!

The Show

The live-action show has been teased on the @NXOnNetflix Twitter page, with a simple video fading to an Assassin’s Creed logo.

The video also features the text “A Netflix Original Series” which is enough to get our hearts racing.

A secondary tweet follows the video, explain that Ubisoft’s own Jason Altman and Danielle Kreinik will serve as executive producers!

The inclusion of two of the games developers as producers fills us with confidence that the adaptation will be a true cinematic masterpiece that matches the game well.
