CoD Vanguard Mid-Season 2 Update: Patch confirmed for later this month

With fans falling out of love with Caldera, the world of Call of Duty has been quiet recently. Maybe life will be kicked into it soon with the mid-season update that has now been confirmed.

We don't know much about Warzone's equivalent yet, but here's everything we know so far about CoD Vanguard Season 2's mid-season update, including when the release date may be.

LATEST - Roadmap Revealed

The roadmap for Vanguard's mid-season update is out and - as expected - there's only a little bit of Multiplayer content to speak of. Two new maps and three new vehicles will be added but most importantly, so will ranked play.

After a delay was announced earlier this year, the addition of ranked play will be welcomed by the multiplayer community, or at least what's left of it.

Vanguard Mid-Season 2 Update Confirmed

This week, Sledgehammer Games has confirmed that a mid-season update is in the works for Call of Duty Vanguard.

When talking about plans to fix the issue that has seen the Kill Confirmed game mode removed from the game, they said that the fix would come in the "mid-season game update later this month."

Those fixes will come alongside others, and maybe some new features in a Season 2 Reloaded event. After all we're still expecting some of the features promised at the beginning of the season.

Mid-Season Update Release Date

All Sledgehammer has said officially is that Vanguard's mid-season update will arrive "later this month" so the final date is still up in the air.

However, looking at the current battle pass and how long is left in Season 2, it's easy to take a guess at when the next update will arrive.

We expect the Vanugard Season 2 mid-season update to arrive on the evening of March 23, which is just over a week from this article's writing.

As soon as that is confirmed, we'll be sure to update you.

New Features in the Update

As we said earlier, there are still some features that were promised in the Season 2 roadmap that we're still waiting on. The mid-season update would be the perfect time for them to arrive.

Below are the things we're still waiting on:

• Gamma Vehicle
• Arms Race (Motorcycle and Tanks) mode
• Ice Axe Melee Weapon
• Gustavo Operator

Whether these will all come with the mid-season update in Vanguard, we're not sure, but we'll let you know the details once Sledgehammer reveal everything.
