Modern Warfare 2 is fast approaching Season 2 after a short delay, and there's a ton of new content coming with the update. Infected is already confirmed as a new game mode, but we also expect a new Battle Pass, new weapons, and much more to be on the way.
The new Season is expected to be the biggest content drop the game has seen yet, so there's a lot to look forward to. Here's everything you need to know about what's coming and how to get your hands on it.

Modern Warfare 2 Season 2 Release Date
The new season will drop in tandem with the update for Warzone 2 and DMZ, with all content being transferrable. As always, weapons will likely be able to be earned in all modes, and Battle Pass progress will be accessible to all players.

We expect Season 2 Reloaded to release halfway through the season, relatively slightly later than Season 1's equivalent. There's plenty to get stuck into in the meantime though, so let's take a look at what you can earn.
Season 2 Battle Pass
Modern Warfare 2 Season 2 is even more action-packed than its predecessor when it comes to the Battle Pass. The most exciting new addition is often the weapons, and you'll be able to unlock three for free with the Battle Pass this season:
- ISO Hemlock Assault Rifle
- KV Broadside Shotgun
- Dual Kodachis Melee Weapon
Unfortunately, we'll have to wait and see what other goodies we'll be able to unlock with the pass this season. There will however be plenty more to unlock via challenges, including weapons and operators.
