START DATE - When does "The Haunting" begin?

"The Haunting" is the name being given to the upcoming Halloween event for Warzone - and Black Ops Cold War - and it's due to start a lot sooner than you might think. According to the Season 6 Content Roadmap that was released at the start of the current season, "The Haunting" is due to start on October 19th.

We don't know about a specific time just yet, but Call of Duty events tend to begin at the following times:

  • 10:00 PST
  • 13:00 EST
  • 18:00 BST

ZOMBIE ROYALE - Should Warzone bring this back?

However, seasonal updates drop a lot earlier in the day so we could see the new content go live at the following times if there's enough of it - We're not sure this counts as a Season Six Reloaded update, though.

  • 21:00 PST
  • 23:00 EST
  • 04:00 BST (Next Day)

You'll find out everything we know about so far, but there's still a lot left uncovered. Call of Duty has promised more information soon, though.

MORE INTEL SOON? - Keep an eye on the Call of Duty Blog!

When "The Haunting" was confirmed for October 19th, Call of Duty also confirmed that more information about this Warzone Halloween event would be dropping on October 18th.

Again, we don't have a specific time but Call of Duty Blog posts usually drop around the following time:

  • 10:00 PST
  • 13:00 EST
  • 18:00 BST

We should see some confirmation on the LTM to expect from "The Haunting", an official announcement of everything below, and hopefully a couple of exciting surprises about what's next for Warzone - both in the Season Six Reloaded update and beyond.

LEAKS - Operators, Bundles, and more

As it stands, Call of Duty leakers and data miners have been hard at work finding out everything they can about "The Haunting" and what's coming to Warzone during this Halloween event.

At the moment, we know quite a lot about the cosmetics that are on the way - and a little bit about what to expect from the event challenges.

Ghostface is joining Warzone and Black Ops Cold War as a new Operator - in a similar fashion to how Rambo was added during the 80s Action Heroes event - and Donnie Darko's Frank the Rabbit is going to be added as a Baker skin.

KILLER - Ghostface should sport unique voice lines from Scream

In addition to that, there's a selection of other event-limited bundles to pick up with Halloween-themed skins for Naga, Portnova, and Weapon Blueprints to boot. This isn't too surprising, though. Call of Duty events always have limited-availability cosmetics nowadays.

What is slightly interesting are the rumours that the LAPA SMG - one of Season Six's unreleased weapons - is going to be unlockable via the event challenges. This wouldn't be the first time Treyarch has pulled this stunt - the Sai melee weapon was unlockable via The Numbers event's challenges. We don't have confirmation on this just yet, though. For now, take it with a pinch of salt.
