The Call of Duty Vanguard Beta is currently underway but The Numbers Event is due to start this week. This leaves time for considerable hype for where the game goes next.
In yet another attempt to tie together the CoD universe, the next event is sure to be a big one. Here's what you should know about it.
Latest - Event goes live today
The numbers event is set to go live today at the following times:
- 10:00 PST
- 13:00 EST
- 18:00 BST
The Numbers Event - Start Date Confirmed
As detailed in the Season 5 Reloaded content roadmap, the Warzone Numbers Event is due to begin at 1pm ET/6pm BST on September 21, which means we only have a few hours to wait until it goes live.
The information came from the following release from Raven.
" Initially installed at the start of the season, the Mobile Broadcast Stations around Verdansk will soon begin amplifying the “Dragovich Program” tapes – A.K.A. the Numbers broadcasts – across the region.
These are the focus of The Numbers Event, an upcoming limited-time reward stream for Operators brave enough to investigate these trucks placed by Perseus. This limited-time event will begin on September 21 at 10 AM PT."

At the moment... No. We should hear something from Raven Software and Treyarch soon, but right now here's what they're talking about...

Warzone was updated recently and Blueprint Blitz is back! Unfortunately, there's no mention of The Numbers Event in any recent communications and we don't know anything more than we did last week - hopefully, we'll see something soon as the event is due to start in a handful of days.

As always, Black Ops Cold War is posting strange narrative teasers for Zombies - as opposed to actually just telling us what's going on. DLC 4 is on the way and they have been sharing quite a lot recently about where it fits into the Dark Aether storyline. It's going to feature the Soviet Base we visit in "Redlight, Greenlight" and should help tie this iteration of Call of Duty Zombies into Vanguard's entry... Here's the latest teaser.
With The Numbers Event due to start in Warzone next week, we should see something more from Raven Software and Treyarch soon. We know they like to cut it close, but this is ridiculous...
PATCH NOTES - Anything to add?
Raven Software's Season 5 Reloaded update has just been released and there are some new Patch Notes to look over ahead of The Numbers Event. We already knew that this event was going to heavily involve the Mobile Broadcast Stations, but now we know what you'll be able to get from them during the event...
The Season 5 Reloaded Patch Notes had the following to say in regards to "incentives" for looking for Mobile Broadcast Stations:
- An instant $5,000 Cash bonus in the current match;
- For each unique Mobile Broadcast Station activated during the event, you will receive an exclusive reward such as a Sticker, Calling Card, or Charm, in addition to some XP;
- Complete all of the Challenges in the Numbers Event in either Warzone or Cold War to unlock the Sai melee weapon;
There's going to be nine in-game challenges alongside the upcoming Numbers Event and it looks like ZestyCODLeaks has uncovered the locations we might be seeing the Mobile Broadcast Stations appear.

- Port
- Airport
- Train Station
- Boneyard
- Salt Mine
- Farmland
- Hills
- TV Station
What are we expecting to happen?
At the moment, it's anyone's guess - Raven Software and Treyarch aren't saying a lot just yet. Looking at the Season 5 Roadmap reveal, only the following can be attributed to the upcoming Numbers Event:
" NATO is aware of these recent Perseus efforts and has decided to [[REDACTED]]. Operators should look for [[REDACTED]] when it arrives on [[REDACTED]] within Verdansk, as a highly important [[REDACTED]]."
It isn't very useful, but The Numbers Event is going to have something to do with Season 5's Mobile Broadcast Stations and the Red Doors that you can find around Verdansk '84.
Reportedly, data miner BreadisModding uncovered some audio files that would suggest that there's going to be "brainwashed players" battling it out in a Limited-Time Mode that's going to launch with the event - The Tweet that shared this information has been removed, though.
In addition to this, we're expecting Warzone's Numbers Event to follow the same format as previous events and introduce a series of Challenges to the game - the rewards for these challenges are usually Calling Cards, Weapon Charms, Emblems... Nothing too exciting.
