EA Sports FC 24 is a brand new game from EA that promises to change the football landscape, as the titular developer moves away from the FIFA title.
The game will be released on 29 September across multiple platforms, with a host of familiar game modes returning., including Ultimate Team, Career Mode, and newly-named 'Clubs', which is a redeveloped version of Pro Clubs.

EA FC 24 on PS5
Good news EA FC 24 fans, the game will of course be released on PS5 this year. The game certainly looks set to build on the impressive graphics seen in FIFA 23 and create a memorable experience with Sony's latest behemoth.
Among some of the new information revealed at the latest EA FC 24 official livestream, we got the news that Manchester City star Erling Halaand would be the main cover athlete for the game.
All major game modes are set to return, with major gameplay enhancements on the cards.
Release date and price
The release date for EA FC 24 is on Friday, 29 September 2023, keeping with the FIFA titles that have gone before.
Whisperings of an early release date were true as well, just not in early August as a lot of people were anticipating. Instead, it'll be a one-week early access date starting on 22 September.
The Standard Edition comes in at £59.99 on PC and £69.99 on console, while the Ultimate Edition is £89.99 on PC and £99.99 on console.

Dual Entitlement
When purchasing EA FC 24, whether that be in the PlayStation Store or in a gaming shop, it would be beneficial to buy the Dual Entitlement version to enable playing against friends on old-gen.
This allows you to download both the PS4 and PS5 versions of the game, plus much more, and comes at no extra cost!
EA FC 24 PS5 refresh rate
EA FC 24 will run on a 60hz refresh rate, there will be no option to play the game on 120hz which is highly requested by the PS5 community.
One positive though is the game will run on 4K with new graphics enhanced by the Frostbite engine.
Many games on PS5 can run over 100-120hz, so many fans are confused as to why EA FC 24 will not have that option.
PS5 enhanced haptics
New haptics options for PS5 will allow players to turn the haptics feedback up to the maximum possible on the controller. More details on how this works in game is yet to be provided but this could potentially be a huge edition to EA FC 24 next gen!
HyperMotionV
New HyperMotionV features are exclusive to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
Hypermotion has been integrated into the game mechanics since FIFA 22, evolving through Hypermotion 1.0 in that installment and Hypermotion 2.0 in FIFA 23. While many anticipated the arrival of Hypermotion 3.0 this year, EA FC 24 has taken a different approach, introducing Hypermotion V.
The advantages of this innovative system are substantial. EA FC 24 will boast a staggering 80 times more animations than FIFA 23, as EA has meticulously captured extensive real-life 11 v 11 data to enhance player presentation.
EAFC 24 is poised to become the most dynamic and visually engaging football game to date, with Hypermotion V promising to deliver the smoothest gaming experience yet.
EA FC 24 Frostbite
The Frostbite engine has been powering EA's football releases for some time, but it appears things are about to go to a whole new level once EA FC 24 releases.

The proof is in the pudding, and the screenshots we've seen so far certainly suggest that EA FC 24 is going to make FIFA 23 look decades old.
Additionally, the Frostbite engine won't just make the players look and feel more realistic than ever before, but it will also make things like authentic stadiums feel more real than ever.
Are PlayStyles on PlayStation 4 & 5?
Yes, PlayStyles and PlayStyles+ are both available on PlayStation 4/5.
PlayStyles in EA FC 24 are a new feature introduced in the game that focuses on the individual style and performance of each player. This feature dynamically alters players' movement mechanics based on their distinct styles and movements exhibited in real-life football matches. PlayStyles act as a significant update to the previous Traits System present in FIFA 23 and have similarities to the X-Factors feature in Madden.
In total, there are 34 PlayStyles, each falling into one of five categories: Passing, Scoring, Ball Control, Defending, and Goalkeeper. Each PlayStyle has two distinct levels: PlayStyles and PlayStyles+. PlayStyles are available to various players, while PlayStyles+ is exclusively reserved for the best players in the game or those who excel in a particular aspect in real life. PlayStyles+ enhances a player's ability from special to spectacular, providing noticeable boosts that help top players shine on the pitch.
Split screen on PS5
EA FC 24 will include couch co-op in the same way as previous titles. Notably, this cooperative play isn't limited to just one game mode; you can enjoy it across a variety of modes while sitting alongside a friend:

Kick-off remains the classic mode for friendly matches against or with friends, while a mode like Career Mode opens up exciting opportunities for collaborative experiences, allowing you and a companion to shape the destiny and identity of a club together.
