Although FC 24 is home to some of the biggest names in football, it also features those who are only just beginning their journeys as they look to follow in the footsteps of their idols.
For Barcelona's Lamine Yamal, emulating Lionel Messi's success is the aim as he continues to break records at just 16 years of age, but is he one of the many exciting talents in FC 24?

Who is Lamine Yamal?
Lamine Yamal came through Barcelona's famous 'La Masia' youth academy, scoring an incredible 357 goals in 249 games for the club's youth teams in the process.
It was almost a guarantee that Yamal would hit the ground running at a very young age, and that is exactly what he has done. Making his Barcelona debut at the end of the 2022/23 season aged just 15, Yamal is now a regular within the Barcelona first-team at 16 years old, scoring six goals and assisting a further seven across 41 appearances so far this season.
The wonderkid has also made six appearances for the Spain national team since turning 16 in July, and if that wasn't crazy enough, he scored on his debut against Georgia!
Is Yamal in FC 24?
Unfortunately, Yamal is not in FC 24 at the moment as he is too young, however, that's not to say he won't be added once he's turned 17.
As we've seen with several other young players making their way into the game for the very first time, Yamal will have to wait until shortly after his 17th birthday, 13 July 2024, before he is eligible to be included in FC 24.
Considering Yamal's progress with Barcelona and Spain so far, we expect EA to give him a solid rating and even better potential when he does arrive, becoming one of the best young players in the game's database.
