Latest- Sergio Perez secures victory in the Azerbaijan Grand Prix

Sergio Perez won the Azerbaijan Grand Prix for the second time earlier today. The Mexican racer crossed the finish line just a second before the runner up Sebastian Vettel. However, everyone thought it was Max Verstappen’s race until the end.

Verstappen was in the lead for most of the race until he crashed with just five laps before the finish. His Red Bull RB13’s tires gave out which led to the accident. Verstappen wasn’t hurt badly, but it did trigger the safety car to come out.

And with Bottas having scored the fewest amount of points in the first five races of a season since joining Mercedes – he's currently in fourth place in the drivers’ standings, behind McLaren’s Lando Norris, and with 47 points to championship leader Max Verstappen’s 105 – the Finn said that it hadn’t been an easy start to the year.

“In the beginning of the season, definitely the mental strength has been tested,” said Bottas.
