Mbappe announced as FIFA 22 Cover Star

EA has also posted a picture of the cover of the FIFA 22 Ultimate Edition - and we must say it looks very clean.

The likes of Erling Haaland, Phil Foden and Mason Mount were dubbed to be challenging for the honour of the Cover Star, but it's the PSG wonder kid once again.

FIFA 22 Release Date

FIFA 22 is still months away from release, so we do not have an official release date just yet.

FIFA 21 was slightly delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic, but this should not impact this year’s release date.

It does look like it will be a late September release too, at least if @FUTZONECENTRAL on Twitter is to be believed.

If so, then Friday, 24 September is the date for your diaries with Pre Orders beginning the week of Monday, 12 July.
