EA Sports FC is the brand new game from EA Sports as they move away from the FIFA series for the very first time. FIFA and EA announced their break up last year and many were left wondering about the future.

Fear not, as football gaming will continue to grow, with games like EA Sports FC taking up the reins.

With that in mind, let's take a look at when the new game could release, with strong rumours circulating that it could be earlier than ever before.

EA Sports FC 24 Early Release Date

Plenty of information has started to leak regarding EA's brand new game, with official information expected to arrive in the next month or so.

INCOMING - Could we be getting an early release?

As ever, we have seen prominent members of the FIFA community begin to spread information about the new game, with an early release date the most recent info to be revealed.

According to DonkTrading on Twitter, EA Sports FC is set for a mega early release date, potentially releasing at the start of the new football season.

This date range may seem rather vague, but it would likely push EA FC's release from the usual late-September to the more sensible mid-to-late August.

FRESH START - EA Sports FC could launch alongside the new Premier League season

In order to coincide with the hype of the new football season, this has been a move suggested for some time and it looks as though EA are set to finally action it.

As stated above, these are only leaks right now, with more official information set to be released in the coming weeks and months.

It's also worth noting that, if these rumours turn out to be true, then this would be the earliest we've ever seen an EA Sports football title release.

Potential Dates

Following the old model of FIFA releases, we had previously pin-pointed the release of EA Sports FC to around the mark of Friday, 29 September 2023.

NEW ERA - EA Sports FC launches in 2023

FIFA has release on the last Friday of September consistently throughout its existence, other than when the pandemic forced a slight change.

However, this new information regarding the release date of EA Sports FC could move the title's release forward by nearly a month.

The start date for the new Premier League season has been confirmed to be Saturday 12 August, with this date offering a good indicator as to when EA's next game could release.

MEGA DEAL - EA will sponsor La Liga from the 23/24 season

Similarly, the German top-flight Bundesliga begins on 18 August, with the newly sponsored EA Sports La Liga beginning on the same day as the Premier League season.

With that in mind, we'd take a guess that EA Sports FC could arrive on either:

  • Friday 18 August 2023
  • Friday 25 August 2023

Of course, these dates are simple predictions as of now, but with rumours of an early release, these are the two dates that would seem the most obvious, for now!

More on EA Sports FC

Concrete information surrounding the new EA Sports FC title is hard to come by, with more official info not arriving until July 2023.

EA's initial announcement did contain the words "Join the Club" which could allude to a switch to a subscription-based model.

Early rumours suggest that EA Sports FC will very much resemble what would have been FIFA 24, with EA retaining all the same licenses in-game.

Leaks have also (unofficially) confirmed that all the popular game modes will be returning in EA Sports FC, including Ultimate Team, Career Mode and Seasons.

According to reports, the first ever Online Career Mode is also in development for EA's new game.

EA released the following in its original announcement of EA Sports FC:

"EA SPORTS FC will allow us to realize this future and much more…but not before we deliver our most expansive game ever with our current naming rights partner, FIFA, for one more year."
