Age: 34

Position(s): ST, LW

Club: Piemonte Calcio (Juventus)

Country: Portugal

Wage: £357,000 a week

Whilst he may have lost the title of the best player on the game to Lionel Messi on FIFA 20, Cristiano still remains one of the best in the world both in real life and on the EA sim. Having won just about every trophy available to him as a player, Ronaldo will go down as one of the games all-time greats, and at 37 come 2022, he may well have hung up his boots.

However, should he still be playing, his rating is likely to have taken a hit, so be sure to negotiate on that hefty wage which he currently pockets each week.

Despite his undoubtable footballing talent, the Brazilian made the headlines for the wrong reasons on a number of occasions last seasons. He will be at 30 years of age come 2022, but with his overall expected to be on the right side of 90, he will still be worthy of those big wages.

With 88 diving, 88 positioning and 90 reflexes, it seems a given that the goalkeepers wages will remain the same if not greater than the £220,000 a week he is on, but if you can afford it, he will undoubtedly pay you back in clean sheets.

At 36 years of age come 2022, the Uruguayan may only have a season or two left in him, but as a defender, his rating should hold. Should you be able to talk his wages down from the £120,000 a week he's on, he may be a solid short term addition for your club.

Like Godin, Pique won't be a long-term addition come 2022, but his rating should still be competitive to fit in any of the top sides, but you will have to talk his wage some way down from the £251k he earns in order to make any sensible deal.
