Cavani to finally arrive in FIFA 21 Ultimate Team

Edinson Cavani has been a notable absentee from FIFA 21 Ultimate Team so far this season, but that has finally changed.

The Manchester United striker is one of 20 players to arrive in the game, but could this signal the winter upgrades too?

New Faces

So, it looks as though 20 new players have arrived in Ultimate Team, with Edinson Cavani and and Mario Gotze leading the charge.

These players were yet to feature on the game, and we have been waiting for Cavani all season.

Other new Premier League cards include Joe Hart, Nathaniel Clyne, Branislav Ivanovic and Nampalys Mendy.

Could these new cards signal something bigger coming though? The Winter Upgrades are expected are expected soon and this could be the start.

Winter Upgrades

Every year EA reward players who deserve a ratings upgrade with a brand new basic card.

These winter upgrades are yet to happen on FIFA 21, but these new basic cards could be a sign of more to come.

There are loads of players who deserve an upgrade this year, but Bruno Fernandes could top the list.

Edinson Cavani

The main attraction from these new additions is Uruguay and Manchester United striker Edinson Cavani.

Although his basic card won't turn too many heads, he will be useful to help you complete Squad Building Challenges.

However, his addition to the FUT 21 roster does open up the opportunity for a Flashback Cavani card which is something we would love to see.

With 85 Shooting including 87 Finishing and 84 Heading Accuracy, Cavani is certainly a lethal finisher.
