They are here! The Summer Stars have arrived with some epic new cards, including two new members to the 99 club.
14 new cards all with ratings of 91 OVR or higher are now available in packs, so good luck as we head into an ultra-competitive Weekend League!
Release date
It is now confirmed. We are expecting the Summer Stars to land on Friday, 2 July.
Whether this is a one-off squad to celebrate the Group Stage we aren't sure, but that would leave room for another squad to be released as a Team of the Knockout Stage in July.
Lionel Messi (OVR 99)
One of the world's greatest ever footballers has been added to the 99 OVR club for the first time in FIFA 21 Ultimate Team.
Lionel Messi helped Argentina secure safe passage through the Copa America group stage and has been rewarded with a huge new 99 OVR.
Cristiano Ronaldo (OVR 99)
The European Championships record goalscorer, Cristiano Ronaldo has bagged five goals already this summer in just three matches.
A large permanent upgrade for Ronaldo has seen him rewarded with a 99 OVR!
Kevin De Bruyne (OVR 98)
A more advanced role for Kevin De Bruyne has seen him rewarded with a huge 98 OVR to rival the very best forwards in the game.
De Bruyne has been the inspiration behind Belgium's Euro 2020 campaign so far, pulling the strings with goals and assists.
Luka Modric (OVR 97)
Croatia's terrific technician in midfield, Luka Modric is the best central midfielder in the Summer Stars promo, and there are some quality cards in there!
Despite Croatia's exit from the tournament, Modric's goal against Scotland will go down as one of the best.
