The festivities are in full swing on FIFA 21 Ultimate Team as EA celebrate the anniversary of the game’s most popular mode.
Mesut Ozil has been added to the SBC ranks that already include cult-heroes Lukas Podolski and Rodrigo Palacio.
Ozil’s new card is awesome too with great pace and a huge new overall. His new attributes are certainly enticing, but can you fit him in your side?

You will need to submit just two squads to unlock Ozil’s new 90 OVR card.
The requirements are as follows:
Real Madrid
- Minimum one Real Madrid player
- Minimum one Team of the Week player
- Minimum 83 Team rating
- Minimum 75 Team Chemistry
1 x Small Prime Gold Players Pack
National Duty
- Minimum one Germany player
- Minimum 84 Team rating
- Minimum 65 Team Chemistry
1 x Rare Mixed Players Pack

Worth It?
We think so. If you have a German team then this is a no-brainer, and there have been some excellent German SBCs released in the past few weeks.
The most recent is still available as part of the FUT Birthday event, with the Lukas Podolski SBC costing roughly 187k coins.
As both former Arsenal players are now plying their trade in Turkey, Ozil and Podolski will form strong chemistry links.
Further back, Bayern Munich stars Thomas Muller and Jerome Boateng have both been released as Player Moments SBCs, so if you have them then your attack could be bolstered by Ozil.
More recently though, the Bender twins Lars and Sven were released as End of an Era cards, so there are plenty of high-rated German players around.
To sum up, Ozil is great value on FUT 21 provided you have a team to accommodate him.
