Headliners Benzema secures ANOTHER upgrade

Headliners Karim Benzema has bagged himself yet another upgrade.

The Frenchman will see his rating boosted next week after Real Madrid made it four wins in a row on Saturday afternoon.

Karim Benzema has rolled back the years this season and has already bagged himself three TOTW appearances in FIFA 21 so far.

And now his Headliners card is set to jump from a 93 to a 94 courtesy of the four successive wins rule in this year's promo.

Release Date

This year's Headliners upgrades have been released in tandem with the TOTW.

With that in mind, expect to see Benzema upgraded on Wednesday, February 24.

Upgrade

Benzema will see his 93-rated card upgraded to a 94 OVR, the French forward's third upgrade since the promotion began.

The upgrade could see Benzema's passing jump into the 90's, leaving the talismanic forward with three of his six base stats in the top tier.

It is unlikely we will see any change to Benzema's work rates, weak foot or skill moves. But, with L/M and 4*/4* in place already, that won't be an issue.

His relatively low pace (81 OVR) will leave pace merchants questioning whether or not this card will be worth picking up, but with elite finishing and dribbling, it's a no brainer really.

Expected Cost

Currently, the 93-rated Benzema is trading for between 260k-270k on both PlayStation and Xbox.

Don't expect to see his price fluctuate too much from this range, although it is likely his price will shoot up to nearer the 300k mark on Wednesday evening when the upgrade is applied in-game.
