Much has been made about the attainability of the top-rated cards in Ultimate Team this season, but just how much will the best team cost you in FIFA 21 now?
We have put together what we think is the best team available (with 100 chemistry) and it is more affordable than you might think!
Take a look at THE ultimate team and how much it will cost you in FIFA 21.
There are slightly more options in defence, so we have gone with a back four (five if you include the keeper) from La Liga.
Team of the Season Jan Oblak (OVR 96) starts between the posts, with Atletico Madrid teammate Marcos Llorente (OVR 96) taking up the right-back role.
Real Madrid centre-back pairing Sergio Ramos (OVR 98/96) and Eder Militao (OVR 96) are top-class, while Flashback Gerard Pique (OVR 96) is also an option.
Completing the back four is Spanish left-back Jordi Alba (OVR 97) who is one of four Summer Stars in our ultimate XI.
You won’t find a better midfield than this anywhere, and at the heart of it is Brazilian Icon Pele with his 99-rated Prime Moments card.
Joining him in the centre of the park is Diego Maradona who is the lowest-rated player in midfield with 98 OVR!
On the left, linking with Pele perfectly is PSG’s Brazilian superstar Neymar who received a huge 99 OVR Summer Stars card.
On the right, forming that perfect link with Maradona is arguably the great player ever, Lionel Messi. Another 99-rated Summer Star, Messi’s card is simply sensational.
Our front two consists of two 99-rated players that were released during this summer’s Festival of FUTball.
First up is Liverpool’s Roberto Firmino whose Path to Glory card maxed out at 99 OVR after Brazil’s runner-up finish at the Copa America.
Joining him in a deadly front two is none other than Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Portuguese legend is one of the greatest players ever, and his 99 OVR Summer Stars card will cost you around 3 million coins.
Our Ultimate XI is set up in a 4-4-2 formation, and some position modifiers will be required to reach that maximum chemistry.
The estimated price for the full XI comes in at just under 20 million coins on PlayStation, while Xbox users will need around 17.5 million coins to assemble this dream squad.
PC users… are you sitting down? You will need over 35 million coins to put this team together, yikes!
So late on in the season this really does beg the question, has anyone ever assembled THE ultimate team?
