Voting is now open for the La Liga December Player of the Month (POTM).
Seven players have been nominated for the award and you can check them out below.
Release Date
We are expecting the La Liga POTM soon, but we have no official release date yet.
As the official nominees have been announced, we think La Liga will be the first POTM SBC released this month.
Lionel Messi
Argentinian superstar Lionel Messi is the star name on the list of nominees this month.
The Barcelona captain scored three goals and provided an assist in December to help Barcelona pick up three wins.
Karim Benzema
Four goals, two assists and a perfect five wins from five show an excellent month for Karim Benzema.
Benzema’s purple patch has come at the right time as Madrid have joined rivals Atletico at the top of La Liga.
Iago Aspas
After a disastrous start to the season, Celta Vigo’s form has picked up and they are now unbeaten in five.
Striker Iago Aspas scored three and assisted three more to help his side pick up 10 points from a possible 12 in December.
Gerard Moreno
This seems like a strange nomination, but Villareal’s Gerard Moreno has made the shortlist.
With one win from five games, Moreno scored two goals in December.
Mario Hermoso
Atletico Madrid currently sit top of La Liga with games in hand over their rivals.
Centre back Mario Hermoso played every minute for Diego Simeone’s men in December, helping to keep two clean sheets. He also bagged a goal himself!
Jules Kounde
French defender Jules Kounde is already a popular player on FUT 21 due to his high pace rating.
Kounde played a major part in Sevilla keeping three clean sheets in December, and is deserving of his nomination for POTM.
Javi Ontiveros
Huesca may be struggling, but it could be worse if not for the form of Javi Ontiveros.
The Spanish winger scored the winner against Alaves and in the 1-1 draw with Levante to secure four points for his side in December.
