FIFA 21 is now available on Next Gen consoles, and the early signs are good!

Check out some of the great new features below.
Dual Entitlement
For anyone who already owns the game, FIFA 21 on PS5 and Xbox One is free!
Thanks to Dual Entitlement, you can upgrade your version of FIFA 21 on PS4 or Xbox One without paying for the game again.
Unfortunately, this is not available on PC as EA is not bringing the same features to the game.
What’s New?
Lots.
Little details from players’ hair to off-the-ball actions like pointing to space and adjusting the captain’s armband.
All these small enhancements just add to the incredible realism brought on by the new lighting system and insane Next Gen graphics.
There is also a new camera angle called Game Cam which offers a TV-style viewing experience. It also offers a wider view of the pitch too.
Controller Haptics
Some of the new controller settings are excellent. You will feel the impact of each kick whether it be on the left or right foot as it brings you into the game.
This also includes ‘ball-compression’. Players will “feel that sense of weight on the ball, which creates a more authentic experience” according to Sam Rivera, FIFA producer.
Our favourite feature though is the adaptive triggers. As players get tired, the R2 on PS5 will have increased resistance.
Be careful who you are sprinting with, 33 Pace centre back Jannik Vestergaard may just grind to a halt!
Community Feedback
Largely positive.
One Reddit user said “the game looks great” even though they were playing on 30fps rather than the optimal 60fps.
Twitter user @TikiTakaConnor also praised the game saying, “FIFA 21 on the PS5 update feels and looks insane compared to the PS4 version”.
There will likely be some teething problems, but the future is bright for FIFA 21.
