We are yet to see any UCL Man of the Match (MOTM) cards released on FIFA 21 Ultimate Team, but that could be about to change.

The first round of the European knockout stages took place last night, with Liverpool beating RB Leipzig 2-0, and PSG running riot in Barcelona.

This means that MOTM cards could be making an appearance.

UCL MOTM Cards

If you didn't know, MOTM cards are awarded to, you guessed it, the Man of the Match in certain games.

They are the equivalent of Team of the Week (TOTW) cards, but for cup competitions.

The UCL and UEL MOTM cards should be making an appearance soon now the knockout rounds are underway.

Kylian Mbappe

It was a one man show in Barcelona last night, and that man surprisingly was not Lionel Messi.

It was an impressive display by PSG and particularly Kylian Mbappe, as they look to go one better than last season and lift the trophy for the first time.

WORLD CLASS - Mbappe turned up on the big stage last night

Mbappe tore Barca to shreds with his pace, skill and clinical finishing and could be rewarded with a new UCL MOTM card.

A 91 OVR card could be on the way with a new LW position.

Best of the Rest

In last night's other game, Liverpool beat RB Leipzig 2-0 with goals from Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah.

Porto face Juventus tonight, while Borussia Dortmund travel to Sevilla. Could one of these ties throw up a new MOTM too?

UPGRADE - A win for Juventus tonight will boost Sandro's rating to 88

On Thursday, a full round of Europa League knockout fixtures will take place, giving plenty of opportunity for players to step forward.

Our pick of the ties is Real Sociedad v Manchester United, but can The Red Devils stop Mikel Oyarzabal and David Silva?
