FIFA 21 April Pitch Notes address server upgrades


FIFA 21 continues to bring new content to the game and update things after launch, and we've now got the latest Pitch Notes following the previous FIFA 21 Title Update.

While a bit scarce on new changes, the Pitch Notes for FIFA 21 did delve into overall improvements that have been made in recent months, including infrastructure improvements for server connection and more.

The latest FIFA 21 Pitch Notes took a look at the latest improvements made by EA Sports for FIFA 21 and future titles moving forward.

EA Sports has shown a commitment to upgrading Online Play infrastructure and the experience, including past introductions of input overlay and the ability to report a match for connection quality.

Connection issues can be one of the most frustrating parts of Online Play in FIFA 21, or any online multiplayer title, so it's good to hear FIFA 21 is continuing to make improvements.

New FIFA Game Data Center now live in Argentina

The new Pitch Notes also announced the latest FIFA Game Data Center (FGDC) has officially gone live from Buenos Aires, Argentina, making this their 24th FGDC.

The Miami FGDC was the last to be revealed, and the latest Pitch Notes outlined the impact of that addition on FGDC FIFA Online Matches and their overall ping, especially in Central America.

While there was a slight improvement to games played from the United States, there was a much more significant boost to games played from Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, and the Bahamas.
