The FUT Captains promo is well underway in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team and is providing us with plenty of content including SBCs and objectives.

The leaks suggested that a Flashback SBC was on the way for Spanish midfielder Ander Herrera, and they were once again proved correct!

The Paris Saint-Germain centre-mid has been handed an 88 OVR Flashback SBC card in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team, in celebration of his fantastic 2016/17 season with Manchester United.

Start Date: Saturday, 16 April

Expiry Date: Saturday, 23 April

SBC Requirements

You'll need to submit two different squads in order to unlock the 88-rated Herrera card for your Ultimate Team.

The requirements are as follows:

Ligue 1

  • # of players from Ligue 1: Min 1
  • IF Players: Min 1
  • Squad Rating: Min 82
  • Team Chemistry: Min 70
  • # of players in the Squad: 11

Pack Reward: Small Prime Gold Players Pack

La Furia Roja

  • # of players from Spain: Min 1
  • Squad Rating: Min 86
  • Team Chemistry: Min 65
  • # of players in the Squad: 11

FUT Captains OUT NOW

It turned out that TrustyFutTrader wasn't so trustworthy when they announced that FUT Captains would be the next promo in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team on Thursday, 10 February.

Despite the time frame being wrong, the promo has now landed, using the same concept of selecting players who captained their club or country.

New variants of the FUT Heroes have been introduced with insane upgrades, with present-day captains also featuring in the event.

As well as the squads being released into packs the regular objective player was also made available, with daily SBCs coming for Icons as well!

FUT Captains landed on Friday, 8 April, at the usual time of 1pm ET / 6pm BST, with Team 1 joining packs.

The promo is running for two weeks, with Team 2 coming on Friday, 15 April, again at 1pm ET / 6pm BST.

It is set to be the last major promo before we start the run in for Team of the Season on Friday, 22 April, with the main event leaked to kick off on Friday, 29 April.
