April’s Bundesliga Player of the Month will be coming soon in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team, and one of Europe’s hottest stars could claim the award yet again.
As ever, the winner will receive a new special card in FUT 22 with boosted ratings, and you can unlock the item for your club by completing the Squad Building Challenges that accompany it.

The official EA Sports FIFA Twitter account has revealed the Bundesliga Player of the Month nominees for the month of April 2022.
The POTM nominees are as follows:
- Christopher Nkunku
- Serge Gnabry
- Christian Gunter
- Filip Kostic
- Grischa Promel
- Mark Uth
Release Date
We could be waiting a while for April’s Bundesliga Player of the Month as the current Christopher Nkunku SBC does not expire until Thursday, 12 May.
There is also another round of fixtures still to be played, so we would expect to see some official Bundesliga nominees in early May.
Christopher Nkunku
Surely, he won’t do it again. Christopher Nkunku has already won three Player of the Month awards this season, including the award in both February and March.
The Frenchman has scored two and assisted four in April so far, taking him to 50 goal involvements in all competitions this season. Forget Player of the Month, Nkunku could be the Player of the Season!
Serge Gnabry
German winger Serge Gnabry has hit a purple patch this April, scoring three times and assisting another in his four appearances so far.
With Bayern Munich also securing their tenth league title in a row, Gnabry could be aided by his club side’s success in his quest for Player of the Month.
Christian Gunter
Freiburg has maintained their push for European football next season with seven points so far in April, and their captain has been in sensational form.
Christian Gunter has provided three assists and scored once in four matches this month, making him a strong contender for Player of the Month.
