EA's brand new FUT Fantasy promo has officially begun in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team, with the Team 1 cards out now alongside the Icon Swaps 2 campaign.

Italian midfielder Sandro Tonali was the first SBC to be released in the new campaign, and he has now been joined by compatriot Daniel Caligiuri.

SBC Requirements

You will need to submit just one squad in order to unlock the 89-rated FUT Fantasy Caligiuri card for your Ultimate Team.

The requirements are as follows:

  • Minimum 1 Bundesliga player
  • Minimum 1 Team of the Week player
  • Minimum 84 Team Rating
  • Minimum 75 Team Chemistry

Fantasy FUT card upgrades explained

Fantasy FUT brings a new dimension of live, dynamic item to FUT 22, with big initial boosts and - starting Friday, 1 April - the chance for players to earn up to +3 OVR upgrades based on their individual contributions.

Fantasy FUT players will earn a +1 OVR upgrade if they make three appearances in their next five domestic league games, as well as a +1 OVR upgrade if they make an appearance in a team win in one of their next five domestic league games.

PROGRESS - Fantasy FUT players can make big improvements

The third potential +1 OVR upgrade is based on players’ individual performance in their specific position:

  • For attackers and midfielders, one goal or assist in their next five domestic league games
  • For defenders and goalkeepers, one clean sheet in their next five domestic league games

The first Fantasy FUT squad is available in packs from Friday, 18 March until Friday, 25 March in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team, with the second to follow straight away from Friday, 25 March until Friday, 1 April.

You’ll also find additional players to unlock through Squad Building Challenges and Objectives throughout the two-week campaign.

Key Dates

EA kicked off the Fantasy FUT promo on Friday, 18 March.

The new set of cards replaced the FUT Birthday Team 2 players in packs at approximately 1pm ET / 6pm GMT on the day of release, like all other FUT promos.

We understand that the promo will run for two weeks, with Team 2 cards set to be released on Friday, 25 March.
