Deeper Match Analysis will revamp your player performance in FIFA 22

EA has now revealed full details of the FIFA 22 gameplay with an official trailer and deep dive pitch notes.

One exciting new feature in the game is 'Deeper Match Analysis' which has seen a revamp of match stats.

The new Deeper Match Analysis will allow you to better understand your own game, and also analyse your opponent's performance too.

Deeper Match Analysis

With so many new features coming to FIFA 22, let's start with the basics, what is Deeper Match Analysis?

"With a complete revamp of the Match Facts and Player Performance screens, you are now equipped with more match data to help you better understand how you and your players, as well as your opponents, are performing."

Effectively, more stats and data will be available in the game to help you analyse either your own game or your opponents.

This can help you improve your game faster, and find weaknesses in your opposition.

What's new?

There are loads more stats to look at in the match screen, including everybody's favourite stat xG, so you will definitely know if your strikers are being wasteful in FIFA 22.

"Starting with the Match Facts screen, new visuals help you compare performance between you and your opponent in the revamped Summary screen.

You can also get a more detailed breakdown of key aspects of play including possession, shooting, passing, and defending."

A closer look at each individual aspect of the game should allow you to pick up on trends that you may not have been able to recognise before.

"The all-new Player Performance screen lets you know how each player has contributed to the team in the Summary screen, as well as providing a detailed breakdown of their own overall performance in the Possession, Shooting, Passing, Defending, and Goalkeeping screens."

You can even take a closer look at your goalkeeper's performance too, so there will be nowhere to hide in the new game.

The new stats and data is a great addition to the game, but let's be honest, we are only going to use it for one thing. Pro Clubs.

More specifically, we will use it to pick out who is letting the team down and let them know about it!

As mentioned above, there really is nowhere to hide with stats covering all possible bases.

The Deeper Match Analysis is more than just a tool to pick on your mates though, as it really will provide a better insight into your own game, especially in competitive modes like Weekend League.
