The much talked about FUT Captains promo has finally arrived in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team!
The brand-new promotion focuses on the biggest and best captains in world football, both past and present, with a number of FUT Heroes cards receiving healthy upgrades too!

Latest - TEAM 1 RELEASED
It's been a long-time coming, but Team 1 of the FUT Captains promotion is finally here!
Featuring the likes of Antonio Di Natale, Marco Reus and Wissam Ben Yedder, the new promotion is one of the best releases of the FIFA Ultimate Team year so far.
Di Natale is one of four FUT Heroes that have received some mighty upgrades, each of which are definitely good enough for the current meta now.
Real Betis captain Joaquin has arrived via the Squad Building Challenge market, whilst Lars Stindl has also landed in-game, the Borussia Monchengladbach captain is available via a limited-time set of objectives.

Release Date
The FUT Captains promo landed in FIFA 22's Ultimate Team on Friday, April 8th at 1pm ET / 6pm BST.
Its arrival marked the end of the Showdown Series promotion, although there are one or two players still available via the Squad Building Challenge markets.
The promotion is expected to last for two weeks, with Team 2 arriving on Friday, April 15th.
FUT Captains
It turned out that TrustyFutTrader wasn't so trustworthy when they announced that FUT Captains would be the next promo in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team on Thursday, 10 February.
Despite the time frame being wrong, an upgrade to FUT Heroes cards looks to be coming, which could still involve the same concept that was leaked.
The thought was current FUT Heroes who captained their club or country will feature in the event, receiving "insane" upgrades.
It is now understood that the Ultimate Team promo will feature more than just the new variants of the FUT Heroes, with present-day captains also in line to feature.
This is a brand new promo in FUT, so we are excited to see what EA has in store for us.
As well as the squads being released into packs, expect to see SBCs and objective players coming too, to make the celebration as big as possible!
Reliable leaker FutSheriff has revealed that daily Icon Moments SBCs will be released as part of the FUT Captains campaign in Ultimate Team.
We can expect to see the memorable club and national team captains' Moments cards released as SBCs.
