Harry Kane could make Manchester City unstoppable in FIFA 22

The summer transfer window rumour mill is in overdrive and Premier League champions Manchester City are reportedly eyeing up a move for Harry Kane.

Last season's top goalscorer and top assist-maker will surely cost well in excess of £100 million, and Spurs look like they have no interest in selling.

If City do manage to secure the signing of Kane they could be unstoppable next season, but how would they line up in FIFA 22?

FIFA 22 is still months away from release, but EA Play Live should give us our first glimpse of the game in just a few weeks time.

As this will be the first Next-Gen optimised version of the game, the expectation is understandably higher than ever.

Unsurprisingly there has been no word on when FIFA 22 will officially be released, but we can have a pretty accurate guess.

FIFA 22 will likely be released between Friday, 24 September and Friday, 8 October, 2021, judging by the release in previous years.

Will he stay or will he go?

Having won no major trophies at Spurs, you can understand why Harry Kane would want to move to a club that will challenge in every competition they are in.

Kane himself has discussed his future with Gary Neville, saying he does not want to end his career with "any regrets".

"There's definitely a conversation to be had with the club," said Kane.

"It's a moment in my career where I have to kind of reflect and see where I'm at and have a good, honest conversation with the chairman.

"As players, you don't know what the chairman is thinking. He might want to sell me. He might be thinking, 'If I could get £100m then why not?' I'm not going to be worth that for the next two or three years."

So far, it looks like Spurs chairman Daniel Levy has no interest in selling, so this could turn into the transfer saga of the summer.

Unstoppable City

Kane is not the only England star City have been linked with as Pep Guardiola apparently holds an interest in Jack Grealish.

With the addition of these two England stars, City really could be unstoppable next season in their quest for European glory.

With the likes of Raheem Sterling, Gabriel Jesus, Bernardo Silva, and Riyad Mahrez on the books, City are certainly not short of attacking talent.

Grealish, Kane, and Spanish starlet Ferran Torres could become the first choice front three next season, and that is one attack we don't want to face.

One area City could look to strengthen further is at left-back.

Joao Cancelo showed signs of his best form last season, but they still need an out-and-out top-class player to fill that role.
