How many coins is Messi in FUT 22?

Lionel Messi is always one of the most expensive players in FUT.

At the start of FIFA 21, Messi was valued at around 1 million coins on both PlayStation and Xbox.

If Messi receives a position change to a CF, we can expect his price to be slightly higher at the start of FUT 22 - possibly around 1 million - 1.5 million coins.

What position is Messi on FIFA 22?

Messi's FIFA 21 base card was a Right-Wing position.

However, the Argentine played the majority of the 2020/21 season with Barcelona as a free-moving central attacker.

Messi also picked up a number of performance-based special cards as either a Centre Forward or Striker in FIFA 21.

So, we think that EA will change Messi's position in FIFA 22 to a Centre Forward (CF).

When is FIFA 22 coming out?

FIFA 22 is still a couple of months away from release, so we do not have an official release date just yet.

FIFA 21 was slightly delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic, but this should not impact this year’s release date.

Judging by previous editions of the game, we are expecting FIFA 22 to be released in late September, potentially Friday, 24 September.

Unlike FIFA 21, we expect a demo to be released beforehand giving us a first taste of the new game.
