FIFA 22: Flashback Kylian Mbappe SBC could drop in Ultimate Team VERY soon

With the Road to the Knockouts event set to be replaced by the Rulebreakers promo very soon, there's plenty going on in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team!

Following on from the Flashback Kante SBC, it looks like a certain French striker could be getting a Flashback card of his own...

Flashback Mbappe SBC coming soon!

According to FUTZone on Twitter, a Flashback Kylian Mbappe will be released in Ultimate Team soon.

The Mbappe SBC card will be similar to that of N'Golo Kante's Flashback card, which dropped in FUT 22 this week.

EA would likely downgrade Mbappe's FIFA 22 base card, in a flashback to his early PSG or Monaco days, which will make him more affordable and will still be an overpowered card.

FUTZone was spot on in predicting the Flashback Kante SBC, as you can see from the Tweet above, so fingers crossed he is right again with this one!

Flashback Kylian Mbappe (OVR 87)

We think the Flashback Kylian Mbappe SBC would be an 87 OVR rated card in Ultimate Team.

Mbappe has always had electrifying speed, so his pace will no doubt remain very pretty high, but his other stats will be downgraded significantly.

We are expecting EA to slash the Frenchman's dribbling and shooting stats, but don't worry, you can apply a Marksman Chemistry Style in order to boost these right back up.

Mbappe's passing and physicality stats will also be downgraded.

We are praying EA doesn't touch Mbape's skill moves or weak foot, but we've got a feeling that he would be given four-star skill moves instead of his current five.

Cost

We don't yet know how much this Mbappe card will come in at, but we can have a pretty good guess, judging off the previous Flashback SBCs.

N'Golo Kante's Flashback card is priced at roughly 290,000 coins on PlayStation and 300,000 coins on Xbox.

So, we can expect a Flashback Kylian Mbappe SBC to cost in the region of 300,000 - 500,000 coins, as there's no way he'll come in cheaper than Kante.

However, there are ways of getting around paying the full amount of coins of course!

We all know SBCs are a lot more achievable than just buying a card off the market as they can be crafted with high-rated untradable players in your club.

Using your unused Non-Rare Golds which are just sitting in your club to complete the Gold Upgrade SBCs is a great way to pick up high-rated fodder.

Release Date

The Flashback Mbappe SBC will likely be released sometime between Monday, 1 November and Friday, 7 November.

The SBC will arrive at approximately 1pm ET / 6pm BST on the day of release.
