The FUT Captains promo has finally landed in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team, and it has broad us a whole load of new boosted players.
Newley upgraded FUT Heroes cards are one part of the promo, with current club captains also celebrated with big ratings.

Objective Requirements
There are four objectives needed to complete to unlock the 89-rated card, with the requirements as follows:
Sweet Strike
- Score 2 Volleys in the Live FUT Friendly: The Chosen One
Reward - 1 x 75+ Rated Player
Marauding Midfielder
- Score 4 goals using Midfielders in the Live FUT Friendly: The Chosen One
Reward - 1 x Gold Pack
Grabbing Glory
- Win 4 matches in the Live FUT Friendly: The Chosen One
Reward - 1 x Small Electrum Players Pack
Scoring Streak
- Score in 10 separate matches in the Live FUT Friendly: The Chosen One
Reward - 1 x Premium Gold Pack
Release Date
The Fantasy FUT promo was the last major event to end, when cards rotated out of packs on Friday, 1 April.
The Showdown Series promotion replaced Fantasy FUT, although it was strictly limited to the Squad Building Challenge, and didn't contain any packable cards.
FUT Captains landed on Friday, 8 April, at the usual time of 1pm ET / 6pm BST, and is set to run for two weeks.

It turned out that TrustyFutTrader wasn't so trustworthy when they announced that FUT Captains would be the next promo in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team on Thursday, 10 February.
Despite the time frame being wrong, an upgrade to FUT Heroes cards has come, using the same concept of selecting players who captained their club or country.
The Ultimate Team promo will feature more than just the new variants of the FUT Heroes, with present-day captains also featuring in the event.
This is a brand new promo in FUT, so we are excited to see what EA has in store for us.
As well as the squads being released into packs, expect to see SBCs and objective players coming too, to make the celebration as big as possible!
Reliable leaker Fut Sheriff has revealed that daily Icon Moments SBCs will be released as part of the FUT Captains campaign in Ultimate Team.
We can expect to see memorable club and national team captains' Moments cards released as SBCs.
