Messi has joined PSG this summer, and a front three of Messi, Kylian Mbappe, and Neymar is sure to frighten the life out of any defence.

It has been reported that Lionel Messi has agreed to terms on a two-year deal with PSG.

Barcelona confirmed earlier in the month that the club was unable to re-sign Messi to another contract under the current La Liga regulations.

As things stand it looks as though Messi is destined for the French capital, although you never know with the Messi saga!

PSG have had arguably one of the best transfer windows of all time.

While Messi is widely regarded as the greatest of all time, the acquisition of Sergio Ramos should not be underestimated.

Georginio Wijnaldum, Achraf Hakimi, and Gianluigi Donnarumma are all top-class players that have been brought in this summer too, making PSG's one of the strongest squads in the world.

We already know about their attacking strength too, and Messi will only add to the likes of Neymar, Mbappe, Mauro Icardi, Angel Di Maria, Julian Draxler, and Pablo Sarabia.

Ratings decline

Messi dropped from a 94 OVR to a 93 OVR in FIFA 21, and while we expect him to stay there for at least another season, don't be surprised if it falls further.

Many will see moving to France as a step down for Messi, but after losing out on the Ligue 1 title to Lille, the Parisians will have a point to prove next season.
