FIFA 22 Ratings: Best right wingers that will RUN RIOT through defences

FIFA 22 Early Access is here!

Now no longer on a 10-hour timer, we can really dig into squad building, be it on Ultimate Team or Career Mode.

Finding a top-quality right-winger can get your team so many more goals and assists, and therefore wins.

Read on to see who the best right-wingers (RW or RM) on FIFA 22 are.

Lionel Messi (OVR 93)

Lionel Messi remained the best player in FIFA 22, and therefore it isn't much of a surprise to see him top of this list too.

He has another prolific season and then became the biggest free transfer signing EVER in football, joining PSG on a two-year contract after Barcelona compounded their troubles.

On FIFA 22, the prospect of a Career Mode where you've got Messi, Neymar, and Mbappe will be too good an opportunity to refuse for many.

Mohamed Salah (OVR 89)

Mohamed Salah managed 32 goals in all competitions last season, compared to 23 the year before.

A constant threat for Liverpool, even when the team wasn't in the best of form, Salah is one of the best players in the world.

If he's picking up those kinds of numbers in a Liverpool side that's not firing on all cylinders, watch out for him when they get back up to full speed.

Angel Di Maria (OVR 87)

Another of PSG's devastating attackers, Angel Di Maria has been among Ligue 1's elite for many years.

He isn't getting as many goals as he used to, but he was the only scorer in the Copa America Final, which clinched the game for Argentina.

Jadon Sancho (OVR 87)

Jadon Sancho enjoyed another impressive season with a total of 20 goal involvements in the Bundesliga, before returning to England with Manchester United.

We haven't seen the best of him in the Premier League yet, but surely it is just a matter of time for the young Englishman.

Riyad Mahrez (OVR 86)

Not many players possess the ability that Riyad Mahrez does, which makes his inconsistency all the more frustrating.

Nine Premier League goals are not enough for a player of his quality, yet he managed to gain +1 to his overall rating.

His touch is one of the best in world football, and his performances for Manchester City towards the end of last season were superb, so hopefully, we see more of this Mahrez going forward.

Serge Gnabry (OVR 85)

Gnabry has transformed into one of football’s top wingers since moving to Bayern Munich and has continued to impress in recent months.

Gnbary couldn't continue with numbers from his astounding 19/20 season, which saw him with 23 goals and 14 assists, but he still managed 11 goals and seven assists last term.

Leroy Sane (OVR 84)

Another man from the Bayern Munich team, Leroy Sane has enjoyed his time in the Bundesliga so far.

His blistering pace causes problems for many defenders, and he has three goals and six assists in nine games so far this season.

Hakim Ziyech (OVR 84)

Hakim Ziyech still seems to be trying to fit into the Chelsea team.

An injury-struck season meant he only completed 90 minutes once last campaign.

He isn't the fastest player, which may not be as essential on FIFA 22 as on previous games, and has great dribbling and passing.

Ousmane Dembele (OVR 83)

Ousmane Dembele is still trying to justify his enormous transfer fee, with injuries constantly hitting him during his spell at Barcelona.

He is talented, no doubt, and does provide goals and assists, but Barca would have been expecting more.

Federico Chiesa (OVR 83)

Federico Chiesa is one of several Italian youngsters to emerge in the past couple of seasons.

Having scored nine goals and picking up nine assists for Piemonte Calcio in the 2020/21 Serie A season, the 23-year-old became an important part of Italy's Euro 2020 winning squad.

Chiesa saw a great increase from his previous 78 OVR, and also a position change to a RW.
