It looks as though Record Breakers are back on the menu in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team, so keep an eye out soon for a release.
The new ‘Road to the Knockouts’ event is currently running in FUT 22, and we are expecting another squad to arrive this week, but where does that leave us with the Record Breakers?

Latest - First card released
Inaki Williams becomes the first player to receive a Record Breaker upgrade in FIFA 22.
It celebrates the Athletic Bilbao players' La Liga record of 203 consecutive appearances for the club, which is a phenomenal achievement.
You will have to complete an SBC if you want to get your hands on the new card, and you can find out how to do that here.
Release Date
The first Record Breaker card was released via SBC on Tuesday, 19 October.
We don’t expect a full promo event for the Record Breakers, so a mini release like in FIFA 21 looks likely.

Record Breakers
We have seen Record Breakers cards in Ultimate Team before, with Virgil van Dijk, Kylian Mbappe, and Jamie Vardy all included in FIFA 21.
If you hadn’t guessed already, Record Breakers are selected from players who hold records in various categories. Not really rocket science to figure out, is it!
Last year we also saw Spanish playmakers David Silva and Cesc Fabregas included in the release with some major boosts to their ratings, helping them to fit the meta.
Fingers crossed we see something along those lines this year, with some of the elder statesman of the game given healthy upgrades!
Predictions
Barcelona wonderkid Ansu Fati is the youngest player to score for Spain and could be a popular man in the release.
His Barcelona teammate Gavi is the youngest to ever play for Spain though at 17 years and 62 days, but he is yet to feature in FUT 22.
Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah has been sensational so far this season and we are backing him to headline the event.
Salah currently holds the record for most Premier League goals in a 38-game season with a whopping 32 goals achieved back in 2017/18.
