FIFA 22 RTTF: How much can Road to the Final cards be upgraded by in FUT?

The Road to the Final (RTTF) promo is well underway in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team, with three new dynamic cards having arrived in a mini-release last weekend.

How much can RTTF cards be upgraded by?

The Road to the Final cards will be upgraded when a player's team:

• Wins 1st knockout game after campaign launch.
• Qualifies for Quarter-Finals.
• Qualifies for Semi-Finals.
• Qualifies for the Final.
• Wins the Final.

So, this means that a RTTF card can be upgraded FIVE times after the initial upgrade.

However, RTTF card upgrades work like TOTW upgrades, which means the boost can be more than a +1 OVR.

For example, Jason Denayer's RTTF card will jump to an 86 OVR after the first u[grade.

More RTTF card upgrade details

All Champions League, Europa League and Europa Conference Road to the Final items start with an upgrade at the launch of the event.

From there, the player’s Road To The Final item receives a further upgrade each time their team succeeds at select stages throughout the tournament, as you can see in the image below.

Road to the Final players do not need to be selected or have played in each stage to receive an upgrade.

If a player is no longer on the roster of a club in either tournament, they will not receive any further upgrades.

Likewise, if a player’s team gets knocked out of either tournament, they will no longer receive any upgrades.

Once a certain round of the competition is over, Road To The Final items could take up to a few days to update in-game.
