The Road to the Final (RTTF) promo came to an end a while ago in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team, but with the UCL Round of 16 coming to an end, several live cards are due to get upgrades very soon.
The latest set of EUFA Champions League results means three card upgrades are now confirmed to go live in FUT 22 soon.
Sadio Mane (OVR 92 - OVR 93)
Liverpool have successfully qualified for the UCL Quarter-Finals and the most expensive RTTF card on the market, Sadio Mane, will be getting an upgrade as a result of this.
Unfortunately, the Reds were beaten 1-0 at Anfield but ultimately came out as winners on aggregate, so Mane will only receive a +1 OVR to a 93... for now.
Corentin Tolisso (OVR 88 - OVR 90)
Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich have also officially qualified for the last eight of the Champions League and Corentin Tolisso's RTTF card will be boosted as a result.
The Germans smashed RB Salzburg 7-1 in the second leg, meaning Tolisso will be getting a +2 to make his card a 90 OVR and one of the best centre mids on the game.
Alexis Sanchez (OVR 88 - OVR 89)
Despite being knocked out in the Round of 16, partially due to a Sanchez red card at Anfield, Alexis's Road to the Final card will still be getting a +1 OVR!
This is because Inter managed to win their first knockout match after the campaign launch against Liverpool.
How do RTTF cards work?
All Champions League, Europa League and Europa Conference Road to the Final items start with an upgrade at the launch of the event.
From there, the player’s Road To The Final item receives a further upgrade each time their team succeeds at select stages throughout the tournament, as you can see in the image below.
The Road to the Final cards will be upgraded when a player's team:
- Wins 1st knockout game after campaign launch.
- Qualifies for Quarter-Finals.
- Qualifies for Semi-Finals.
- Qualifies for the Final.
- Wins the Final.
Road to the Final players do not need to be selected or have played in each stage to receive an upgrade.
If a player is no longer on the roster of a club in either tournament, they will not receive any further upgrades.
Likewise, if a player’s team gets knocked out of either tournament, they will no longer receive any upgrades.
Once a certain round of the competition is over, Road To The Final items could take up to a few days to update in-game.
