FIFA 22 Season 8: NEW rewards arrive in FINAL campaign for FUT22

Season 8 is underway in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team.

The new season will see the FUTTIES promo continue, with some huge boosts handed out as FIFA 22's cycle comes to a close.

Release Date

Season 8 of FIFA 22 officially started on Thursday, 21 July bringing an end to Season 7, which has brought us some incredible Team of the Season, Shapeshifters, and then FUTTIES content.

The changing of seasons will occured at 3am ET / 8am BST.

EA Play members will receive an XP boost at the start of the season, helping you ease through those early levels.

Storyline Player Picks

As with the previous seasons in FIFA 22, Storyline player picks will be available to unlock at levels 15 and 30, as you build up your XP.

We've seen the EFL, Liga NOS, Eredivisie, and MLS regularly used as the leagues to select the player picks from, and that has continued into Season 8.

LVL 15 Player Pick Options:

• Stephen Eustaquio (OVR 89)
• Andre Vidigal (OVR 88)
• Henk Veerman (OVR 88)

LVL 30 Player Pick Options:

• Gonzalo Higuain (OVR 92)
• Grady Diangana (OVR 91)
• Radja Nainggolan (OVR 90)

Rewards

The rewards have been confirmed for Season 8, with plenty of packs, tifos, and badges all available.

Promo Events

We already know what promo event will take up the main chunk of Season 8, with FUTTIES set to run until Friday, 19 August.

That will see more 'Best Of' and fan-favourite releases to help make your Ultimate Team as unreal as possible.

A FUT 23 Pre-Season event will likely see out FUT 22, granting rewards not just for the current game, but to help out in the early stages of FIFA 23.

We could also see FUT Player Days released, with loads of discount packs, however, it seems pretty late in the cycle to introduce that now.
