The Shapeshifters promo has taken over from Team of the Season in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team, bringing a whole crop of brilliant new players to the game.

Player position changes are the main theme of the event, which can throw up some whacky new cards, with a fresh set arriving within Team 4.
Amadou Haidara

Tim Cahill
FUT Heroes are finally being shown some love in FIFA 22, with the most recent Shapeshiters squads handing out boosts to these unique cards.
Now boosted to 94 and looking better than ever, this dominant Tim Cahill CDM card promises to be one of the most dangerous available in FIFA 22.
Shapeshifters
The Shapeshifters promo was first seen in FIFA 20, although it didn't reappear in FIFA 21, so we already knew what sort of mechanics to expect.
As always, the promo players will receive massive boosts, but they will also have their cards transformed, with changes coming to player positions, work rates, weak foot ability, and updated attributes to better suit their new position.
Three squads have already been released into packs, with a couple of objective players made available with each side, as well as a few SBCs coming throughout the campaign.
Shapeshifters had two squad releases in FIFA 20, and EA has matched and exceeded that, with leaks saying it will become a bumper four-week event with Team 4 coming soon!
