FIFA 22: EPIC card could return as part of INCREDIBLE new promo... and it's not who you think

The rumour mill is spinning and it looks like the next promo in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team will be the all-new Silver Stars campaign.

So, with a promo based purely around Silver cards in FUT, could we see some Flashback cards to the insanely overpowered Silver cards of FIFA 13? We think so...

Silver Stars promo

We all know about the standard Silver Stars cards in FIFA Ultimate Team which can be earned by playing Live FUT Friendly: Silver Lounge and completing simple objectives.

We have seen multiple releases of Silver Stars before, such as the Samba Stars EA released in FUT 21.

However, recent leaks are suggesting that the Silver Stars could arrive in a promo format, with six names confirmed already.

It looks like we could be all set for a full Silver Stars campaign for the first time ever which will no doubt include SBC and Objective content.

Fan favourite to return?!

The likes of Leite, Wellington Silva, Agbonlahor and countless other overpowered Silver cards from down the years will never be forgotten, and we'd love EA to include some of them in the FUT 22 Silver Stars promo.

But, how many of these classic cards are still in Ultimate Team to this day? Not many is the answer.

However, the Brazilian legend that is Cristiano is still knocking about in FIFA 22, currently playing for Kashiwa Reysol in the Japanese first division.

Cristiano had an incredible 74 OVR Striker card in Ultimate Team that absolutely dominated Gold defenders.

So, EA could hand Cristiano a Silver Stars Flashback card that will potentially emulate his incredible striker card from back in the day.

Cristiano is currently a Right Midfielder in FIFA 22 with some incredible average stats, but we don't see why bumping up his pace, shooting and dribbling should be an issue.

Silver Stars Start Date

With no new event confirmed by EA, we don't know the official start date of any new Silver Stars promo just yet.

The Road to the Final promo looks set to run for one week only, meaning that we should see something new arrive on Friday, 25 February.

We have had FUT Captains and the What If events rumoured already, but a one-week Silver Stars celebration could be squeezed in too.

One thing we do know is that the leaked players are not arriving in their regular Wednesday Silver Stars slot according to @FutSheriff on Twitter, so a promo is on the cards.
