FIFA 22 Thomas Delaney Objectives: Danish sensation available for FREE

The Shapeshifters promo has taken over from Team of the Season in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team, bringing a whole crop of brilliant new players to the game in Team 1.

Player position changes are the main theme of the event, which can throw up some whacky new cards, with more set to arrive in Team 2.

Thomas Delaney has gained Shapeshifters card via objectives, so check out his stats and how you can unlock him for your side below.

Expiry Date: Sunday, 3 July

Objective Requirements

You'll have to get busy quickly if you want to snap up this boosted card, with a range of objectives needed in order to unlock this star.

Defensive Assist

  • Assist 4 goals using Defenders in Squad Battles on min. Professional difficulty (or Rivals)

Danish Delight

  • Score 5 goals using Danish players within Squad Battles on min. World Class difficulty (or Rivals)

Across the League

  • Score a goal from a Cross using Bundesliga players in 5 separate Squad Battles matches on min. Professional difficulty (or Rivals)

Bundesliga Eleven

  • Win 8 matches in Squad Battles on min. Professional difficulty with 11 Bundesliga Players in your Starting Squad (or Rivals)

Shapeshifters

The Shapeshifters promo was first seen in FIFA 20, although it didn't reappear in FIFA 21, so we already knew what sort of mechanics to expect.

As always, the promo players will receive massive boosts, but they will also have their cards transformed, with changes coming to player positions, work rates, weak foot ability, and updated attributes to better suit their new position.

A squad will be released into packs, with an objective player or two expected to be made available when the event kicks off, as well as a few SBCs coming throughout the campaign.

Shapeshifters had two squad releases in FIFA 20, and EA are set to match and possibly exceed that, with leaks saying Team 3 is on the way, and Team 4 could also join!
