FIFA 22 Ultimate Team has welcomed its biggest event of the year, with Team of the Season joining the game.

The Ligue 1 TOTS squad is in packs for just a short while longer, with the Serie A TOTS side set to replace it.

The latest and last Ligue 1 TOTS card has now been added to FIFA 22 Ultimate Team.

Benjamin Bourigeaud enjoyed a top season, hitting double figures in goals and assists, thoroughly deserving of this special card.

Ligue 1 TOTS out NOW

Well, here it is, probably the best squad of the TOTS release!

Paris Saint-Germain trio Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe and Neymar are the highest-rated players in the squad, but it looks like the midfielders are the true stars of the show.

Boasting some incredible stats, Lucas Paquets, Aurelien Tchouameni, Seko Fofana and Matteo Guendouzi are true all-rounders that could boss the middle of the park.

The overpowered Wissam Ben Yedder will no doubt be a handful in FUT Champs with a 95 OVR TOTS card.

The likes of Jonathan Clauss, William Saliba and Nuno Mendes have been handed some incredible TOTS defender cards.

Lionel Messi (OVR 97)

Lionel Messi may not have hit the mind-bending numbers that we're used to from his La Liga days, but he has also been out injured for spells.

Despite that, he still finished as the league's second-top assister, with 14 in 26 games, popping up with six goals too.

Kylian Mbappe (OVR 97)

Kylian Mbappe provided the most assists with 17, and finished top scorer again with 28 goals, so it's no surprise to see him in the Ligue 1 TOTS.

He provided the winning goal in 13 games this season, more than any other player.

Neymar Jr (OVR 96)

It just wouldn't be a Ligue 1 Team of the Season with PSG's Neymar Jr.

The Brazil international managed to rack up 13 goals and 6 assists in the 2021/22 league campaign and has been rewarded with a 96 OVR TTOTS card.

Jonathan Clauss (OVR 93)

Johnathan Clauss is a FUT favourite, and as a very attacking right-back it is easy to see why.

He got the fourth-most assists in the league, with 11, which is pretty good going for a defender.

You could argue he plays more of a right-midfielder role, which would explain his five goals this season too!

Marquinhos (OVR 95)

Marquinhos is an ever-present at the back for his PSG side.

He is classy and commanding, captaining his team to another league title.

Aurelien Tchouameni (OVR 94)

One of many young French prospects, Aurelien Tchouameni has been solid for Monaco all season.

He has seen four Team of the Week inclusions this season, so a Team of the Season version was always looking likely.

Dimitri Payet (OVR 90)

Another assist machine, with 10, Dimitri Payet was also towards the top of the most chances per 90 minutes list.

He has matched the assists with 12 goals too, helping Marseille to secure Champions League football next season.

Wissam Ben Yedder (OVR 95)

Monaco's Wissam Ben Yedder finished the second-top scorer this season, with 25 goals, also providing five assists.

The Monaco man has an astonishing 42% goal conversion record, much higher than anyone else in the league.

The Ligue 1 TOTS squad was released on Friday, 27 May at 1pm ET / 6pm BST, with SBC and Objective players coming at the same time.

It has replaced the La Liga TOTS in packs, joining the Liga NOS squad for a short time, before that rotated out for the Super Lig and then Belgium Pro League TOTS sides.
