The time to vote for your FIFA 22 Team of the Year (TOTY) is over, and EA is set to release the squad into packs in Ultimate Team VERY soon!
With that in mind, here's all the latest TOTY news, rumours, and leaks as we approach the full release.
Latest - Attackers coming soon
It looks like the Team of the Year attackers will be the first cards released in this year's event, so get ready for Kylian Mbappe, Robert Lewandowski, and Lionel Messi.
The three attackers have had just one of their base stats revealed in the latest loading screen, along with their overall.

Release Date
Confirmed TOTY Schedule:
- Friday, 7 January - Forward Nominees revealed
- Saturday, 8 January - Midfield Nominees revealed
- Sunday, 9 January - Defender & Goalkeeper Nominees revealed
- Monday, 10 January - Voting begins
- Tuesday, 18 January - Voting closes
- Thursday, 20 January - Ultimate XI revealed
- Friday, 21 January - Honourable Mentions release
This suggests that the first Team of the Year cards will arrive in packs on Friday, 21 January.
We must stress that this release date is yet to be confirmed, but it does look the most likely.
The TOTY will be released into packs at approximately 1pm ET / 6pm GMT on the day of release.
Official TOTY Ratings
Along with confirmation of this year's squad, EA has also shown off the ratings with Robert Lewandowski and Lionel Messi leading the way with 98 OVR.
There are no 99 OVR players just yet, and we may have to wait for the Team of the Season event later in the year for those to arrive.

Honourable Mentions pending
They are coming! Honourable Mentions are returning for another season, and they are set to arrive in packs as early as Friday, 21 January.
With the full TOTY XI revealed, we now know which players have missed out on selection, so there could be some big names among the honourable mentions.
Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland is certainly worthy of a card, although he is likely in the mix for 12th man!
Premier League stars like Declan Rice, Antonio Rudiger, and Heung-Min Son are all tipped to be recognised among the Honourable Mentions too.
SBCs & Objectives
As part of the TOTY promo, EA will also release some special themed Objectives and SBC cards during the event.
The SBC and objectives players will most likely not be the very top tier players but can be added to your club for free by using untradeable cards or by completing objectives!
The first objectives player could come in the form of an honourable mentions card, like Jack Grealish's FIFA 21 card.
Perhaps EA will release something similar for the likes of Antonio Rudiger, Erling Haaland or another player who narrowly misses out on the squad.
You may want to grind SBCs, such as the 78+ Player Pick, in order to build up a number of high-rated untradeable cards that will help you complete the SBC, effectively for free.
