Team of the Year is dominating FIFA 22 Ultimate Team at the moment, with quality content all over the place.

The Ultimate XI has now been joined by TOTY Honourable Mentions cards and the 12th Player.

Latest - EA Gets There Last

We've seen all the leaks, and EA has now confirmed them.

Once again the leakers were right, so there are no real surprises in who makes the cut.

Cristiano Ronaldo was also officially announced as the 12th Player, and you can check out his card here.

Incoming Content

The TOTY Honourable Mentions cards have all been leaked, so now it's just a matter of waiting for them, and all the other content, to go live.

Friday, 28 January will be the biggest content day, with the TOTY Honourable Mentions side, Cristiano Ronaldo 12th Player, Luke Shaw objectives and Lautaro Martinez SBC all set to be released at 1pm ET / 6pm GMT.

The Player Moments Simon Kjaer SBC could also arrive at the same time, although we think that Sunday, 30 January will be more likely.

Amongst all that will also be a Mid Paolo Maldini SBC and a Prime Emilio Butragueno SBC!

Missing Mendy

We've seen the full TOTY Honourable Mentions Players with their stats leaked now, so here they are all in one place.

You can also spy the stats for Edouard Mendy, who is set to be part of a mini-release on Sunday, 30 January.

Awesome Alaba

Real Madrid new boy David Alaba has gained a top new card, especially if you like playing out from the back.

You may even want to employ him a bit further forward as a midfielder.

Incredible Insigne

Another Italian makes the cut, with Lorenzo Insigne looking to rip it up on the wings.

The mini maestro will be hard to tackle, with top dribbling and pace stats.

Behold, Bonucci

It's not the most exciting upgrade for EURO 2020 winner Leonardo Bonucci, so we doubt this card will be in high demand.

He's been given solid defensive stats, but still isn't the quickest about, making him perhaps the worst card of the release.

City Slicker

We already have two defenders from Manchester City, so maybe it's time to start thinking about playing a back-three with this fella now announced.

Kyle Walker hasn't seen a massive rating increase, but his upgraded card will still be hard to pass with his rapid pace.

Rudiger Robbed

Antonio Rudiger was one of the earlier leaks, but his stats were just a prediction then.

His 'confirmed' stats may not be as good, but it will still be a monster of a card in the game.

Jules Kounde is already a FUT favourite, so expect this card to be much sought after.

With his French connection links, he can become the missing link in many a side, while also being a solid pick at the back.

Serie-A-sly Good

It looks like Serie A has just got a new go-to striker.

A position change for Federico Chiesa will see him tearing it up through the middle of the defence with his lightning pace.

Fantastic Foden

Many people questioned Pep Guardiola's management of Phil Foden - they shouldn't have!

He is now an essential part of a Manchester City side looking to maintain the Premier League title and get their first Champions League and is often the most exciting player on the field.

Deadly David

It's the lowest overall we've seen in the Honourable Mentions stats, but this Jonathan David card will still be top.

With high ratings in pace, shooting, dribbing and physicality, what more do you want from a striker?

Egyptian King

Many thought Mohamed Salah was hard done by with his exclusion from the Ultimate XI, and his luck didn't improve with Cristiano Ronaldo set to take the 12th Man spot.

We could have seen an even bigger boost to Salah, but this one will have to do - and it still looks tasty!

Gullit Gang Goretzka

He was already a member of the FUT favourite Gullit Gang, and this new card has just cemented his place further.

We already knew the man was great at everything, so this new version will just be even greater!

Baller Benzema

@FutArcade has been on a mad one, releasing loads of Honourable Mentions player stats.

Karim Benzema has been on fire for Real Madrid, but his new card will have to be exceptional to displace the Flashback version we gained earlier in the season.

Blimey, Bruno!

He might not have received as massive a pace boost as some would have wanted, but all the leaked stats on Bruno Fernandes' card look top notch.

With perfect links to leaked 12th Player Cristiano Ronaldo, will you go for this Portuguese duo?

Terminator Stats

Erling Haaland is a goal machine, and it looks like his Honourable Mentions card will be insane.

In real life, he managed to score more goals than he played games, and this card could emulate that feat for your Ultimate Team.

Full 15 Leaked

Fut Sheriff is up to his old tricks and has just leaked the full TOTY Honourable Mentions list.

At last Mohamed Salah sees himself included in the promo, with other brilliant cards set to come for Erling Haaland and Antonio Rudiger.

We've got the names, now we wait to see their ratings.

Rudiger Redemption

A very much deserved card has come for someone many saw as a contender for the Ultimate XI.

Antonio Rudiger has seen a revival under Thomas Tuchel at Chelsea and has fast become one of the most sought-after centre-backs around.

Chelsea's season may have trailed off in recent weeks, but let us not forget the title charge they started this season with and the Champions League trophy gained last year.

Mighty Martinez

Luke Shaw is predicted to be arriving as an objectives card, and now we have one set to be an SBC.

Lautaro Martinez had an outstanding year, winning the Serie A title and Copa America, and gets recognised with an Honourable Mentions card.

Click here to find out more about his SBC.

Luke-ing Good

The first leak we saw shows that Manchester United and England left-back Luke Shaw will be coming as a TOTY Honourable Mentions card.

It is also predicted that the card will be able to unlock via objectives, so many players can have access to it.

What are TOTY Honourable Mentions?

With limited space available in the final XI, EA introduced the Honourable Mentions list to Team of the Year to reward the players who have just missed out on gaining an incredible card.

WORLD CLASS - This group only just missed out on TOTY

Honourable Mentions will receive heavily boosted cards in Ultimate Team but will not be given the ridiculously overpowered cards like an actual TOTY.

Last year, the following players were included in the TOTY Honourable Mentions group:

  • Sadio Mane
  • Ciro Immobile
  • Andrew Robertson
  • Marquinhos
  • Jesus Navas
  • Nabil Fekir

EA also handed a special objectives card to Jack Grealish after his incredible year with Aston Villa, so we can expect to see something similar in FIFA 22.

TOTY Honourable Mentions Contenders

  • Trent Alexander-Arnold (Liverpool)
  • Cristiano Ronaldo (Manchester United)
  • Bruno Fernandes (Manchester United)
  • Dusan Vlahovic (Fiorentina)
  • Christopher Nkunku (RB Leipzig)

  • Antonio Rudiger (Chelsea)
  • Romelu Lukaku (Chelsea)
  • Leon Goretzka (Bayern Munich)
  • Thomas Muller (Bayern Munich)
  • Virgil van Dijk (Liverpool)
  • Kyle Walker (Manchester City)
  • Thiago Silva (Chelsea)

Official TOTY Ratings

Along with confirmation of this year's squad, EA has also shown off the ratings with Robert Lewandowski and Lionel Messi leading the way with 98 OVR.

There are no 99 OVR players just yet, and we may have to wait for the Team of the Season event later in the year for those to arrive.
