The second set of Squad Foundation objectives have now been released in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team, following on from the Eredivisie players.
We're in for a treat, as EA has made four awesome Portuguese Liga Nos cards available to unlock for FREE, plus an extra card available as an SBC.

Liga Portugal Squad Foundations (Rafa, Soares & Inacio)
The group reward for completing all of the Liga Portugal Squad Foundations objectives is the 85 OVR right-midfielder, Rafa.
Rewards: 1 x Squad Foundations Rafa
Start Date: Sunday, 21 November
Expiry Date: Friday, 21 January
The objectives that you complete on your way to unlocking Rafa will always give you two more special Liga Nos players in FIFA 22.
The objectives to complete are as follows:
Finishing From Distance
- Score 8 Outside of the Box goals in Squad Battles on min. Semi-Pro difficulty (or Rivals)
Rewards: 1 x Squad Foundations Rafa Soares
Air Mail
- Assist 8 goals with Crosses using Liga Portugal players Squad Battles on min. Professional difficulty (or Rivals), with min. 7 Liga Portugal players in your starting squad
Rewards: 75+ Rated Rare Players (Untradeable)
Portuguese Promise
- Score using Liga Portugal players in 8 separate Squad Battles matches on min. Professional difficulty (or Rivals), with min. 7 Liga Portugal players in your starting squad
Rewards: 1 x Squad Foundations Goncalo Inacio
Invincible Iberian
- Win 10 matches in Squad Battles on min. Professional difficulty (or Rivals), with min. 7 Liga Portugal players in your starting squad
Rewards: 75+ Rated Rare Players (Untradeable)
Squad Foundations Uribe (OVR 86)
EA has also released a separate set of objectives in order to unlock the 86 OVR Mateus Uribe card.
You'll need to complete four objectives to unlock the Squad Foundations Mateus Uribe, all in the Live FUT Friendly: Football Foundations.
Sustained Finishing
- Score using Liga Portugal players in 6 separate matches in the Live FUT Friendly: Football Foundations, with min. 7 Liga Portugal players in your starting squad
Rewards: 75+ Rated Rare Players (Untradeable)
Portuguese Provider
- Assist 4 goals using Liga Portugal players in the Live FUT Friendly: Football Foundations, with min. 7 Liga Portugal players in your starting squad
Rewards: Two Players Pack (Untradeable)
In The Bag
- Score 6 Finesse goals using Liga Portugal players in the Live FUT Friendly: Football Foundations, with min. 7 Liga Portugal players in your starting squad
Rewards: Gold Pack (Untradeable)
Four In Four
- Win 4 matches in the Live FUT Friendly: Football Foundations, with min. 7 Liga Portugal players in your starting squad
Rewards: Small Electrum Players Pack (Untradeable)
Squad Foundations Simon Banza (OVR 88)
EA has also released a special Squad Foundations SBC, with Simon Banza being given an insane 89 OVR card in FUT 22.
You'll need to submit two squads in order to unlock Squad Foundations Simon Banza for your FIFA 22 Ultimate Team, and the requirements are as follows:

- # of players from Liga NOS (POR 1): Min 1
- IF Players: Min 1
- Squad Rating: Min 83
- Team Chemistry: Min 75
- # of players in the Squad: 11
