FIFA 22 Ultimate Team: Lionel Messi set for HUGE Man of the Match boost

The Team of the Season promo is well underway in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team, with the Serie A squad set to arrive in packs on Friday.

Also set for arrival on Friday is a huge man of the match boost for Lionel Messi, who recently lifted the Finalissima with Argentina, following victory over Italy.

It's two boosts in a week for Messi, so just another normal period in the life of this remarkable footballer.

Messi may not have scored at Wembley in the Finalissima match between Argentina and Italy, but he more than played his part with an excellent range of passing and skills on show.

EA Sports congratulated the Argentinian star after the match and announced that a brand new Man of the Match card will be arriving on Friday.

With a major 97 OVR Messi currently kicking around in packs in the Ligue 1 TOTS, this Man of the Match offering will be the second boost in a week for the Argentine captain.

In recent times, EA have dropped Man of the Match items in batches, leading to speculation that we could see Thibaut Courtois feature for his recent performance for Real Madrid in the Champions League Final.

We've already had cards drop for certain major finals that have taken place this season, but Messi may not be arriving alone on Friday.
