FIFA 22: What to do in Ultimate Team this week

With many different tasks and game modes, FIFA 22 Ultimate Team can be a tricky place to prioritise your playtime in.

We have you covered, with this weekly look at all the objectives and SBCs, letting you know what to look out for and where to avoid.

Where possible we will also be highlighting how to combine multiple objectives, to streamline your play.

Monday

The FUT 23 Pre-Season promo has gone into its third week, now with 200 'Best Of' re-released cards in packs, and highlighting top summer transfers with boosted players in objectives and SBCs, giving easy ways to earn high rarity packs, and of course, letting you earn rewards for FIFA 23.

The Live FUT Friendly: Pre-Season Cup, with a new set of corresponding objectives, gives you player picks and packs as rewards to make the most of the promo, so make sure you play your allocated 10 matches a day until you've gained all the prizes.

The Warm Up to FUT 23 III objective set requires you to complete a recurring SBC every 48 hours, which only requires a squad of Bronze players to unlock, but will reward you with 85+ Player Packs.

Annoyingly, you can't combine a couple of the FUT23 Kick Start III tasks, because the friendly mode requires you have four different nationalities starting, and the tasks ask for five of the same nationalities for each section, so you would only be able to get three different nationalities starting if you were to combine two tasks.

Because we have many objectives that offer player pick and pack rewards, there was once again only one new objective player released.

The requirements for Player Moments Tanguy Ndombele need to be completed in Squad Battles or Rivals, so you cannot combine them with the FUT23 Kick Start III or Pre-Season Cup III objectives.

You have until Friday, 9 September to complete the Ndombele and FUT23 Kick-Start III objectives, so they should be first on your to-do list, with the Pre-Season Cup III ones expiring on Saturday, 10 September.

Tuesday

We're drawing to the end of the season so there isn't as much to get stuck into.

Continue playing through the objectives, grind through the 85+ x 10 SBC as much as you like, and take on some players in Rivals.

If you still have some games left in Weekend League then now is your last real chance to get them completed.

Wednesday

Due to the extension of FUT Champions by 48 hours, Weekend League rewards are available at 3am ET / 8am BST on Wednesdays if you did not complete all your matches.

Shapeshifters cards are included in the player picks and packs, as well as Team of the Season options.

Team of the Week 36 was the last TOTW release of this season, so we will have to wait until FIFA 23 to see the regular in-forms release return.

We've also seen the last of our Silver Stars cards, so again, we will have to wait until the next game for them to return.

Thursday

Division Rivals rewards will be released at 3am ET / 8am BST on Thursday, 8 September.

Division Rivals rewards will continue to include Team of the Season and 83+ OVR TOTW players from the whole season in the player pick pool if you finish Elite, due to TOTW no longer coming out.

Aside from that, it will be a quiet day for new content, so get all the objectives completed, and qualify for FUT Champions if you plan to enter.

Friday

Weekend League will kick off at 3am ET / 8am BST and it has been extended by 48 hours until the end of the season, so will last until Wednesday, 14 September at 3am ET / 8am BST, so make sure you've qualified for that if you plan to enter.

The Pre-Season 'Best Of' Squad 2 cards are now in packs and this set will stay in them until Friday, 23 September.

We should see more SBCs and objectives added, again celebrating big summer transfers and rewarding you with high-quality packs and player picks.

Saturday

If you've qualified for Weekend League then your day will be occupied with that.

Look to be hitting 51 points as a minimum, as the rewards get much better from that stage upwards.

Other than that, player objectives will be where you spend your time, competing in Squad Battles to earn better rewards for Sunday.

Sunday

Squad Battle rewards will be available at 3am ET / 8am BST, which could be quite good if you've been playing them for the player objectives.

Team of the Season cards will continue to be available as Squad Battle rewards but are restricted on rating unless you hit the Elite ranks or higher.

If you land anywhere between the Silver 2 and Gold 1 rank the TOTS reward will be pretty similar, so that should be your aim unless you want to go Elite.

Again, it will be another day of Weekend League and player objectives, Squad Battles or Division Rivals.
