FIFA 22: What to do in Ultimate Team this week

With many different tasks and game modes, FIFA 22 Ultimate Team can be a tricky place to prioritise your playtime in.

We have you covered, with this weekly look at all the objectives and SBCs, letting you know what to look out for and where to avoid.

Where possible we will also be highlighting how to combine multiple objectives, to streamline your play.

Monday

Weekend League rewards are available at 3am ET / 8am BST if you did not complete all your matches.

The Shapeshifters promo has now finished, with FUTTIES taking its place and bringing us loads of top content.

The new Live FUT Friendly: FUTTIES PL Cup, with corresponding objectives, gives you player picks and packs as rewards to make the most of the promo, so make sure you play your allocated five matches a day until you've gained all the prizes.

To complete a couple of the Summer Swaps III objectives you will need to play in the Live FUT Friendly: One League, which now also restricts you to play a maximum of four times a day, so again, max out on the games until the objectives are done.

You have until Monday, 25 July to complete set III, which also involves winning four Squad Battles matches.

There are a few brilliant objective players you can add to your squad for free!

The requirements for FUTTIES Dynamic Duo Mason Mount and Reece James mean you need to play in the Live FUT Friendly: Premier League Talent, so you can't double up with the FUTTIES Kevin Mbabu, which needs to be completed in Squad Battles or Rivals.

The Mbabu objectives are very generic, so you can complete them whilst doing the Summer Swaps III Squad Battles objectives, bringing a Bundesliga player off the bench to score.

You have until Friday, 22 July to complete the Mount and James objectives, and Saturday, 23 July for the Mbabu ones, so they should be first on your to-do list.

The Summer Swaps campaign continues, with the SBCs now live to redeem your tokens against.

Summer Swaps is the latest token system introduced in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team and offers loads of top prizes, so make sure you keep on top of all the token releases with our Summer Swaps Token Tracker.

The SBCs will expire on Monday, 25 July at 1pm ET / 6pm BST, so this is your one-week warning to claim all the rewards you want.

Tuesday

Today is your last chance to bring in the Silver Stars objective player, which is Shapeshifters Karim Rekik, and also comes with a Summer Swaps token.

With the objectives being able to be completed in less than an hour it's definitely worth doing, as free players should never be sniffed at.

Wednesday

Team of the Week 36 was the last TOTW release of this season, so we will have to wait until FIFA 23 to see the regular in-forms release return.

A new Silver Stars card will be released, so get that completed and out of the way so you don't have to worry about it for the rest of the week.

Thursday

Division Rivals rewards will be released at 3am ET / 8am BST on Thursday, 21 July.

Season 8 will launch at the same time, bringing in a new set of rewards to earn, and you will also gain your Division Rivals Milestones rewards from Season 7.

Future Division Rivals rewards will continue to include Team of the Season and 83+ OVR TOTW players from the whole season in the player pick pool if you finish Elite, due to TOTW no longer coming out.

Aside from that, it will be a quiet day for new content, so get all the objectives players completed, and qualify for FUT Champions if you plan to enter.

Friday

Weekend League will kick off at the now regular time of 3am ET / 8am BST, so make sure you've qualified for that if you plan to enter.

Also, remember that now the TOTS event is over, it will last 72 hours again, ending on Monday, 25 July at 3am ET / 8am BST.

BEST OF THE BEST - FUTTIES will see a 'Best Of' re-release

The FUTTIES 'Best Of' Batch 1 is stated to rotate out of packs at 1pm ET / 6pm BST, but it is not clear if Batch 2 will replace it immediately.

However, we should still see more SBC and objective content for FUTTIES players, even if another 'Best Of' release doesn't come.

Saturday

If you've qualified for Weekend League then your day will be occupied with that.

Look to be hitting 51 points as a minimum, as the rewards get much better from that stage upwards.

Other than that, player objectives will be where you spend your time, competing in Squad Battles to earn better rewards for Sunday.

Sunday

Squad Battle rewards will be available at 3am ET / 8am BST, which could be quite good if you've been playing them for the player objectives.

Team of the Season cards will continue to be available as Squad Battle rewards but are restricted on rating unless you hit the Elite ranks or higher.

If you land anywhere between the Silver 2 and Gold 1 rank the TOTS reward will be pretty similar, so that should be your aim unless you want to go Elite.

Again, it will be another day of Weekend League and player objectives, Squad Battles or Division Rivals.

Worth completing:

  • Fernandinho - A great price for an End of an Era card
  • Gareth Bale - One of the best cards in the game for a lot cheaper than you would expect if he were on the transfer market
  • Rodrigo De Paul - A decent price for a top La Liga midfielder
  • Luis Diaz - Slightly more pricey than our usual selections but he is a top-tier card
  • Ivan Cavleiro - Super cheap and could prove useful for future objectives
