FIFA 22: What to do in Ultimate Team this week

With many different tasks and game modes, FIFA 22 Ultimate Team can be a tricky place to prioritise your playtime in.

We have you covered, with this weekly look at all the objectives and SBCs, letting you know what to look out for and where to avoid, while also highlighting how to combine multiple objectives, to streamline your play.

This week keep an eye out for the daily Winter Wildcard Token SBC, which you can swap to gain rewards.

WINTER IS COMING - Ibra looks set to be an absolute beast if he is released

Monday

It is that time of the week again for Weekend League players, with rewards available at 2am ET / 7am GMT if you did not complete all your matches.

There has been a change to the number of wins you need to reach certain levels and a change in rewards, so be aware of this for future play.

TOTW13 didn't have the greatest player release, with Raheem Sterling being the best Red Pick.

Courtois and Immobile are still good options, even if they just end up being used as SBC fodder, and if you get the choice Atal could be a nice addition to your Ligue 1 team.

Focus on completing objectives for Winter Wildcards Junior Messias, as they expire on Wednesday, 22 December.

As well as getting a very decent looking free card, you will also gain another Wildcard Token for the swaps.

Being a Serie A player, Messias will be a great addition to your side for completing objectives for Serie A Player Gregoire Defrel and also the Icon Swaps.

Tuesday

It's your last chance to get Silver Stars Christian Gauseth, who has brought smiles to the game with his silly faces.

It's a special one because this is also an End of an Era card, so make sure you get him in the squad.

With the objectives being able to be completed in less than an hour it's definitely worth doing.

You can then look to focus back on the Winter Wildcards player objectives if you haven't yet finished them.

Wednesday

Team of the Week 14 will arrive on Wednesday, 22 December at 1pm ET / 6pm GMT.

With a bit of a disappointing last couple of weeks, we're hoping that EA goes big before Christmas, and we could see the inclusions of Kevin De Bruyne, Erling Haaland, Joao Cancelo and Andrew Robertson!

A new Silver Stars card will also be released, so get that completed and out of the way so you don't have to worry about it for the rest of the week.

It is also the final day of Season 2, so make sure you have completed any outstanding objectives that won't carry over, and hit that all-important level 30, where we advise you to pick Marco van Ginkel.

He will help you complete the Eredivisie Squad Foundations objectives, and then Squad Foundations Mac-Intosch, where you can use this Eredivisie Football Foundations squad.

Thursday

Division Rivals rewards will be released at 3am ET / 8am GMT on Thursday, 23 December.

As it is the start of Season 3 players will also gain Division Rivals Milestones rewards.

Aside from the start of the new season, it will probably be a quiet day for new content, so look to complete the Icon Swaps objectives.

The three league objectives, which you complete in the Live FUT Friendly: One League, will be the quickest to complete, especially if your opponent plays to the Golden Goal rule.

For those that may not know, the Golden Goal rule means if your opponent scores, you forfeit the match. This means that objectives can be completed much quicker, and that can only be helpful for all the FUT community!

Friday

Weekend League kicks off at 4am ET / 9am GMT, so make sure you've qualified for that if you plan to enter.

We should also see Winter Wildcards Team 2 come to packs, and if the squad is anything like Team 1 then we should be in for a treat!

Saturday

It's Christmas Day!

If you find the time, we assume you will be on Weekend League.

If not, look to complete some more Icon Swaps objectives, which you can combine using this simple guide.

Sunday

Squad Battle rewards will be available at 3am ET / 8am GMT, and they should be decent if you have been completing the Icon Swaps.

If you haven't entered Weekend League you can continue to focus on other game modes and we would try to mix things up so they don't get repetitive.

We should also see another Winter Wildcard Mini Release, so get ready for three more players to enter the player pool.

Live SBCs

There are quite a few Icon cards available at the moment, and we would recommend completing their loan card options, as you can use them infinitely in FUT Friendlies, and they could come in very useful in the future.

Worth completing:

  • Simon Banza - Stats of a 90 OVR ST and will help complete Liga NOS objectives
  • Tahith Chong - Another top player that will help complete Championship objectives
  • Ibrahim Sangare - A beast of a card that will complement your Eredivisie side for 9k
